Garage 253 is a 30 by 60 foot studio with 18 foot ceilings, five garage doors with frosted glass panels, and both natural and artificial light. It holds up to 50 people.
It suits film and video production, photo shoots (headshots, personal branding, pet photography), classes and workshops, podcast recording, and small private events. A variety of backdrops is available for an additional charge.
Every rental is hosted. The studio owner is on site for the full booking, so availability depends on the owner's schedule. Tell us what you're planning and we'll let you know what works.

Spaces
Main Studio
The full floor, up to 50 people. Booked for creative production or for events.
Two-thirds section
A large portion of the studio for mid-size shoots and classes.
One-third section
A smaller portion for compact setups. Keep noise in mind if another section is in use.
Podcast room
A separate room for recording and interviews.
Parking lot
The back lot sits inside an 8 ft screened fence with a drive-through gate. Available for production use, like staging and loading.
Rain set
A SAG-compliant indoor heated sprinkler system with a recirculating pump. Black Duralene backdrop, 21 ft wide by 10 ft high, and a non-slip vinyl water pool, 21 ft wide by 15 ft front to rear and 3 in deep. Priced separately from studio time.
Storage add-on
A designated area for equipment or materials you need to leave on site for a longer period, billed weekly.
Rates are quoted by space and type of use. Backdrops and the rain set are quoted separately. Send an inquiry and we'll reply with a quote.
Rental terms
- Notice. Bookings need at least 48 hours' notice. Earlier is better, since every rental is hosted.
- Setup and cleanup. Your rental time includes both. Extra fees may apply if the space isn't returned to its original condition.
- Cancellation. Cancel at least 48 hours ahead for a full refund.
- Food. Food is not permitted in the studio.
- Shared use. If you rent part of the studio, keep noise down for anyone using the other sections.
- Included. ADA-compliant restroom and changing room access, and a water cooler.
- Storage. Stored items must be clearly labeled and are kept at the renter's own risk. Garage 253 isn't liable for damage or loss.
